British author Mel Elliott claims the network pulled the plug on Markel’s show after receiving a legal letter pointing out “striking similarities” to her own children’s books, after she raised concerns about potential plagiarism. Copy cat. Looks more and more like she literally stole this idea right down to the name of the little girl. This right here should make other companies looking to hire her think long and hard about getting anywhere near her.
