  1. physical media rental stores didnt disappear, they got replaced by buy-and-sell stores. all the same blu-ray nuts and boomer dvd users just buy them and trade them back in and the business doesn’t have to deal with the hassle of trusting people to return stuff.

  2. I got a kick out of how Matt briefly mentioned that his great-grandpa happens to be legendary French filmmaker Jean Renoir. His great-great grandpa is also the iconic painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

  3. i still watch my VHS
they may be able to only stream the edited version of The Santa Clause but i only watch the version that says “1 eight hundred soank me”

  4. I stream movies/shows etc aswell, however i never stopped collecting and buying physical media when most people strictly switched to streaming platforms. I buy Blu-ray DVD’s new – used when i can .

  5. Very cool! Film studios would love if we all bought or rented physical media as their is more money for them!

  6. Cassette Physical Audio and Compact Disc Physical Audio and Vinyl Physical Audio and Net Flix Digital Audio
