(Jul 12, 2016) Up-and-coming 160-pound prospect Malcolm McAllister stepped in against Brazilian brawler Gilberto Yoruba to open the PBC on FS1 broadcast.

In a fight that played out in close for both combatants, McAllister worked up and down effectively throughout the fight, but really began to turn up the heat on Yoruba with good body work late in Round 2.

At both the ends of Rounds 5 & 6, Yoruba appeared to be in serious trouble, with he ref staying close up to the action and on the verge of stopping the fight.

He never had to do so, as Yoruba’s corner called for the stoppage at the end of Round 7, giving McAllister his 8th career win, improving him to 8-0 with 8 stoppages to his credit.
