17. Desi Jr. was never actually on I Love Lucy. This made it sound like he played “Little Ricky”. He didn’t. I think Lucie and Desi Jr. were on Here’s Lucy, which was filmed years later when they were teenagers and were old enough to choose whether or not they wanted to be in show business. I’ve always felt bad Lucy and Desi’s marriage didn’t last. I completely understand why she finally left, but they truly were each other’s soulmate and loved each other fiercely until the day they died. It’s sad that Desi didn’t know how to be in a marriage because if he did, it would’ve lasted forever.

    1. Desi Jr. was on the episode The Ricardos Dedicate a Statue the last episode of I Love Lucy before it became the Lucy Desi Comedy Hour. He was the little boy that Ethel asks if he’s having a good time at the end of the episode.
