Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. Featuring the voices of Academy Award®-winning actor Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino, the film is helmed by Oscar®-winning director Chris Buck (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (“Raya and the Last Dragon”), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones (“Encanto”). Although the song is kind of good, I will admit that the lyrics density in the beginning is very weird. It’s not consistent which bothers me.
Yeah, just grant everyone wishes that won’t bite you in the ass. They could’ve gone in a total different direction with this movie like making the king seem bad at first, but once she realized the consequences of just granting everyone’s wishes is a bad idea. She could be a reason why a true strong over powered villain took over the kingdom opening her eyes and having to work together with the king to fix the problem with him as they do explain why he just going around granting everyone dreams. Especially when most of them can be achieved by them working for it instead of them just getting it handed to them
The music is really good, the animations is…okay. But it totally needed a better story. Plot and characters really need work done. Thank goodness for Once Upon A Studio. That is the true 100 year special.

Asha’s friends are literally the seven dwarfs from snow white. the little angry one = Grumpy
the one always sneezing = (shocklingly) Sneezy
the best friend = Doc
the “introverted” girl = Bashful
the tall fella with big ears = Dopey
the big guy who betrays them = Sleepy
the black girl = Happy
Even their colors match.
I doubt that this was intended to be a smart reference, it’s just there. This movie is so unoriginal it hurts.

The beat is the only thing this song has going for it, which still makes it the best song of the movie.
