  1. David Heyman really deserves the success he’s had, especially with Barbie. Can’t imagine it was easy to get that version of the movie made. It could have ended up as cinematic cotton candy but instead they pushed for something more thoughtful and deeper.

    1. Yeah with the Harry Potter series, Gravity, Paddington series, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Marriage Story, Barbie, Wonka and Jay Kelly, he’s had one hit after another.

  2. I think there’s been an observable struggle of matching the right interviewer to the group, in the Roundtables so far, and this interviewer is amazing

  3. I’ve been watching the Hollywood Reporter Roundtable for many, many years, probably going on 10 years at this point, and this is one of those extremely well-moderated ones. I’m glad that they’ve moved from asking each person to respond to a question, because that’s kind of tiring, and they’ve moved to coming up with specific questions for specific people, and that way it’s more targeted, kind of like targeted advertising. Yeah, so well done to the moderators, and well done to the producers. Producers are leaders, so leaders know how to communicate and know how to keep it within time, and that’s part of what made this Roundtable excellent. 10 out of 10. Well done to everybody involved.
