Sorry, I’ll never recognise white chocolate as real chocolate 😆
Im reveling in his delicious chocolate knowledge and beautiful French accent!
‘Romantics Anonymous’ brought me here.
What I love with chocolate, is drinking red wine : and yes, I’m French. Thanks for this video !
6:14 – Cocoa beans are _not_ beans, so they are _not_ vegetables. They are seeds, which makes them fruits.
Just hearing this guy say “chocolate” makes me want to eat some.
Above all foods chocolate sits in such a unique place in our society. It has made its way into many cultures and it is used in so many ways. To listen to an expert explain the finer details of chocolate and how to use it is just wonderful. I now know what dessert I’m serving at my next family gathering! Thank you.
Fact- eating chocolate while watching this makes the chocolate taste better
I will die on this hill. Using math, anything at .5 or above we round up. If white chocolate is 50% cocoa then we ADD things, diluting it, it becomes less than 50% therefore we round DOWN.
White chocolate is NOT chocolate.
What is the cocoa percentage that would make a substance qualify as chocolate for you?
Cho-co-lette
Voilá!
I found ‘Dubai chocolate’ at a discount store at a discount price, like $5 …should have known better. Instead of the shredded phyllo, the ingredients said ‘shredded wheat’😂 like the cereal? I don’t know…it wasn’t that great.😅
Looked like they were putting chocolate on french fries 😂
How did question 9:34 make it into this video?!?!
What a delight!
Wow, this is the best Q&A session I’ve ever seen Wired produce. Torres is clearly extremel knowledgeable; you can see his wisdom flow freely in every answer. Awe-inspiring.
I love how French is both the single sexiest and single funniest accent
Chef Torres! I used to watch him on the Food Network 20 years ago. I always loved his passion for chocolate
pretty sure colonialism is the reason european countries are more famous for chocolate than the places who actually grow it but alright i guess
I didn’t see a chocolate waterfall or any Oompa Loompas… that factory is suspect 😒
