Raphael Rowe is a treasure
they need more seasons…..lovre this show…
I’m glad the replaced the guy who was in the first season. He’s a bit of a baby. Raphael does a much better job with the interviews.
I think that “Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons” should do an episode on “His Majesty’s Penitentiary” in St. John’s, Canada, were its inmates are subjected to deplorable conditions, can only see their family members virtually, they have to contend with rats.
Supports are also limited, especially for inmates with disabilities.
For a country that prides itself on human rights like Canada, you wouldn’t expect a prison like “His Majesty’s Penitentiary” in St. John’s to have inmates exposed to terrible conditions.
The jail conditions are so bad that several inmates who are on remand had their sentences reduced to conform with Canadian Law.
While the Newfoundland and Labrador Government have been talking about building a replacement prison facility for “His Majesty’s Penitentiary” in St. John’s, nothing has happened yet.
