Narrative conflict is the engine that drives a story. This video will explain 6 kinds of conflict:
* character vs. character,
* character vs. self,
* character vs. nature,
* character vs. machine
* character vs. society
* character vs. destiny
Each kind of conflict is thoroughly explained using examples from movies (like Star Wars and Pitch Perfect) and literature (like Hatchet and Fahrenheit 451). The concept of The Crucible is explained also.
If you’re writing some kind of story, make sure it contains a conflict that will hold your reader’s attention from the first paragraph to the last!
