I have an existing Nest Doorbell with a power supply, no chime. Do I need the chime attached to the power supply?
The home app keeps scanning for near by device and never found the door bell. No where to pu the QR code.
This is great, except it doesn’t include the part where the Google Home app resets and you start back at square 1. I had to rescan the QR code 3 times because the app kept going back to the beginning.
The “chime connector puck” is not optional to install. Don’t be like me and not install it. A few days after installing my doorbell, the doorbell chime box started making an awful buzzing noise. After attaching the puck to my chime box, the noise went away. I’m assuming the puck is actually a resistor. They should probably call it that instead if so, lol
unfortunately there is not breaker in mine they went direct to transformer.
The transformer has to be wired to a 120V circuit which will have a breaker in the panel to turn off.
I follow the exact instruction but the chime doesn’t sound when the doorbell rings, what should I do?
Why are there no useful links in the description? It says go to a URL to check compatibility… Why is this url not in the description??? Oh because that would have required the tiniest bit of forethought.
2:03 “Everything you need for installation is included in the box. You may also need….” SMH.. AND it didn’t come with any of the lead wires, screws, anchors, all the other stuff it says it comes with. What a ripoff
You think it’s going to come with a drill and hammer? Haha
It does come with screws, anchors, wire leads. You probably just threw them away because you didn’t take the box apart.
I lost the screw that holds the door bell to the frame.
Any idea what’s the specification of the screws?

What’s the point of the chime puck? I currently have a wired Arlo doorbell camera and it has no such thing and works fine. I believe I have a mechanical chime.
Security screw does not reach the bracket?
The doorbell is in a loop and won’t ringing 😂😢

How hard would it be to include #@&$ing printed instructions in the #&$@ box!
Plus my box was missing the piece they call the “wire connector”!
Mine won’t clip onto the mount no matter what I do.
Same issue and chime doesn’t work.
