One of the last ones in Ireland was the EFlow toll motorway charge for the toll booth SMS stating that you have unpaid toll charges and a fine has been issued and will need to be paid via a website address
Wait, “sold openly on FaceBook”? And FB comes after me for a comment I made to a friend?
The country whose call center scams originate from need to be fined in the amount lost by the citizens on a yearly basis, so that money can be rerouted back to the victims. This fine shoudl also include the overhead costs it takes to employ the people tracking the scams and collecting the fines from the offending county. Bet we would see alot less indian call centers at that point.
