“Love him or hate him, Napoleon is a figure probably unrivaled in modern history.” Today Jonathon Riley, a British General and historian, breaks down French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte’s most prominent battles and utilized war tactics. JESUS IS THE LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS. THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. GOD WILL PUNISH ALL CORRUPT KINGS AND DICTATORS AND ALL MOST WANTED CRIMINALS WITH THEIR FOLLOWERS.
JESUS SAVES!
END CORRUPTION AND CRIMES.
Not much about tactics, there, in the first couple of battles.
At least Ridley removed the Godzilla part
The Movie is a joke ! How he got 200 million without reading a history book is amazing ! Phoenix looks ridiculous 😊
Watching a historian break down Napoleon’s tactics is like getting a masterclass in strategy! .Genius moves explained in the coolest way.
i wish the guy can explain more you can’t just be like napolean fought the british and won….
Napoleon was responsible for countles of war crimes. So many people like him but actually he was no better that Hitler or Stalin.
“no better then hitler and stalin” excuse me what.
My father never spoke to me. Maybe 5 times in his entire life. I didn’t even know that he had won 3 Bronze Stars for valor in WWII carrying a flame thrower until my brother told me after he died. However one time he told me that a distant Grandfather of ours was a German General whose Army defeated Napoleon’s back in the day.
Talks about Austerlitz, but has no idea where it is on the map. Bro missed by like 500 km
Nay is the one who lost the battle for Napoleon. He attacked without infantry and artillery support. Napoleon had gone to his tent to lay down, and Nay thought he could do the same as Napoleon had done at Austerlitz and Jena. By the time Napoleon came back to the field it was too late Nay had already destroyed the French cavalry against the british squares over the rize of the hill. Then when the french infantry reached the heights they were mowed down by british musketry.
I must see this film 😮
2:50
So, ive learned nothing about the actual tactics he’s used. Only in name, no explanation.
Good summary, but please can you fix the geography! It’s all over the place, Austerlitz is indeed in Czech republic, but your map is pointing way off. You can do this, maps have been around for some time!
Also check where you think Lützen is, it is definitely not in the southern part of Germany
Caught be his own trap? Or by 10s of thousands od people well led?
And what a well received movie it was…..no…wait!
