When spoiled rich girl Sasha Li blows through half of her trust fund, she is cut off by her father and forced to go back to China and work for the family toy business. What begins simply as a way to regain financial support soon develops into a life-altering journey of self-discovery, as she learns the business from the ground up and reconnects with her estranged family in the process.
Go Back to China is a hilarious, heartfelt, and compelling portrait of what happens when today’s Millennial culture clashes with the old-school, hard-working values that families around the world have continued to instill and pass down. It also offers an honest look at the human cost of things that are made in China.

Man Richard Ng’s character reminds me so much of my dad. ahhhh I’m crying. such a good film btw I’m glad I stumbled upon this on my feed. Anna Akana has always been a great actress as well. More people need to watch this.
Sincerely enjoyed the movie. The added touch of culture clash and the multi-family situation added depth to the plot.
YES internships are employers who want some one to work for them for them for free. Sadly the intern doesn’t guarantee anything. If your dad had money get a massive lone and create your own brand then sell sell sell sell.
