Ghostly Handprint Caught on Thermal Camera | The Holzer Files | Travel Channel

Paranormal investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza, equipment expert Shane Pittman and researcher Gabe Roth investigate terrifyingly true hauntings from the recently discovered case files of America’s first ghost hunter, Dr. Hans Holzer. Recognized as the “”father of the paranormal,”” Holzer’s four-decades-long exploration into disturbing hauntings like the Amityville Horror house spawned legions of supernatural enthusiasts, more than 120 books and even inspired Dan Aykroyd to write Ghostbusters. For the first time ever, Holzer’s daughter, Alexandra Holzer, reopens her father’s most captivating case files — along with thousands of his documents, letters, photographs and hours of chilling audio-visual recordings from as early as the 1950s. Equipped with this treasure trove of paranormal knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, the team compares their findings with Holzer’s to see if their modern research sheds new light on these half-century-old investigations.

  1. That’s coming from the outside you can team by the curvature out the fingers.. why not show the clear image with the light on? Fake

  2. Don’t know if the Guy pushed his hand against the window to steady himself… gonna have to investigate 😂

  3. This handprint is of a living being, because only living things emit heat which is visible as a red discoloration on this device.

  4. The handprint “Forming” is the imager auto adjusting color scale for a higher than ambient temperature reading. You can tell because the walls shift from dark red to yellow-orange. I suspect that if this was staged, which it was, it would behoove one’s self not to keep the thermal signature in frame for very long as that would clearly show how the handprint fades. That effectively shows the reverse of how it was applied. Regardless, none of that matters since this is far from compelling evidence. It is easily faked and thus holds zero value as evidence.

  5. Here is what I DONT UNDERSTAND??, I thought spirits were suppose to be COLD??, So why is there a heat mark on the palm of the hand?

  6. Thermal cameras cannot see through glass. To suggest that they can demonstrates ignorance or subterfuge.
