  1. I just started making eye contact and it’s ruff to hold. Once you look away you show weakness or you look unsure.

  2. 10:08 this answer resonates so well with me I often watch the mouths of people I talk to to read their lips, nothing more. I get anxious that they think I may be looking at their teeth.

I have Central Auditory Processing Disorder and sadly some people its just impossible to hear them correctly so lip reading bails me out sometimes.

  3. My parents always taught us it is polite to look people in their eyes to show you are paying attention I hope I haven’t been scaring people.

  4. My sister was a very overweight woman for most of her life. She was teased mercilessly for years in school…… she literally WOULD NOT make eye contact with anyone for more than one second. Not even those of us who loved her. She had been so beaten down over the years that I swear she just tried to stay invisible. It was so weird and sad.

  5. So he was the one who helped Phil helmuth develop his iconic poker posture?! I always thought that was just Phil naturally

  6. Lol, the eye contact poker thing.. I immediately thought of Riker in Next Generation. He was the King of this. 🤣
