Wow, you could change the word fat with covid. Nothing changes with health care.
It’s laughable to say the obesity epidemic has anything to do with Americans going from eating a ton of meat to eating less meat.
Go look up how much meat someone was getting on the 1800s. It was really expensive to eat red meat that alone limited it in people’s diet , combine that with a job that was hard labour all day , there was more more things to worry about killing you then a heart attack from too much red meat in your 60s.
You now who used to die of heart attacks and were usually overweight kings and the wealthy who ate a ton of meat and did little physical activity
Out of WW2 Americans became so wealthy that we could afford to eat so many calories , at the same time our jobs became so sedentary.
When people post on here I went to fasting and keto and lost x , what they are doing is artificially creating the average persons forced diet from most of history.
You can do this with any food you want to and will se results.
I cant imagine how much of the minor health problems i had as a teenager from actually from my mom feeding me “low fat” foods, margarine, vegetable oils, and all that crap.
