Fans expressed they were “seriously concerned” for Rachael Ray as she appeared to slur her words in a new cooking video.
The chef, 56, took to Instagram on Monday to pay tribute to the late Tony Bennett by making his favorite dish, Ossobucco, which consists of braised veal shanks with polenta and bread.
In the clip, Ray recalled inviting Bennett and his wife, Susan Crow, for dinner, where she “almost killed him.”
“I had polished the floors in the kitchen because, well, Tony Bennett’s coming to dinner,” she continued. “I have to make sure the floors are perfect and the house is clean and everything is just amazing.”

I think most of us are used to her hyperactive personality from way back when she first started, and she was much younger. Instead of jumping to conclusions, let’s remember that we all slow down as we mature. Perhaps, she’s comfortable with herself not to worry as much about appearances anymore (hair, weight, etc).

I don’t hear slurring but her left side does appear to be slightly drooping.
She is 56 years old though; she looks perfectly fine for her age. Not every celebrity uses fillers and gets face lifts.

I haven’t seen her in many years. I see the changes in her. We’re all aging and perhaps not in perfect health. I wish her the best.
No slurring. But she did have some lopsided mouth at times going on. Pretty sure she knows why. Getting older, some weight gain and bloating can be from anything. Great that she isn’t trying to look ageless.

Sadly, I believe she has been an alcoholic for quite awhile.
So she might be suffering ill health due to her continued use of alcohol.
Of course, this is speculation and noticing her continued use of alcohol in a LOT of her TV shows.
