Sydney and Jan are great singers dont get me wrong but the premise of the show is that coaches choose artisit with the best voice out of the bunch who would most likely win the competition. Purely looking at her choice with that expectation it doesnt really make sense that Jose didnt get picked. His performance was outstanding, great stage presence, hit notes with precision, made great musical choice and knows who he is as an artist. Honeslty if I was an aspiring artist I wouldnt choose the voice as my platform based on this display. This to me shows favoritism rather than choosing those who actually deserve to move forward
Jose would make a great drag performer, but we don’t need another voice like that in pop music. Yawn.
