With Christmas approaching, Ben Jacobs, a single father and local ice sculptor, asks his daughter Anne what she wants as an early present. Although she knows he says he isn’t ready, what she really wants is for him to meet someone and fall in love. She asks for a life-sized sculpture of a “princess.” Anne wishes for the sculpture to come alive and be a friend to her dad. When they find it broken the next day, Anne gets the blame. She’s grounded but discovers that the sculpture of the princess didn’t break; it turned into a real person. Anne calls her Jade Frost, finding her to be quirky and fun and not very princess-like at all. Pretending to be a distant cousin of Anne’s mother, Jade stays at Ben’s house, getting to know him and Anne. The more time Jade spends with Ben, the more they become inexplicably drawn together. But Jade and Anne learn that if Ben doesn’t accept who Jade truly is, she’ll turn back into ice forever. Going up against time and trying to convince Ben of the truth becomes a struggle, with not just Jade’s life at stake but her heart also. Romance, Christmas and the magic within Jade will have to combine to bring her and Ben together.
