  1. The next time im gonna be playing a game, im probably gonna think about all of this as i do every single thing lol.

  2. 10:44 better explained as a preferential choice between immersion or replayability. Simple games often produce replayability because it doesn’t require story to get the value of playing the game. But long form story driven games provide massive immersion and can really emotionally engage on a level simple games can’t.

  3. Equating the price of a PS2 game to a PS5 game to compare quality is wild. I was NOT spending $60 on a PS2 game lmfao

  4. Guy was responsible for EA not making their own engine and instead saying “golf engine to lord of the rings game, checkmate” 🙄

  5. The next medium to tell a great story? Had this mf never played a video game before? FF6, FF7, God of war, jade cocoon, on and on anf on

  6. 2:25 Did he meant, i don’t need to understand the technology but i need to know if it is there? Because without knowing one cannot understand, did I get that rt ???

  7. Turns out this guy isn’t that good. He THOUGHT he was, but his “spiritual successor” to Dead Space really sucked. This guy was NOT the thing that made those games good. He thought he was, but he wasn’t. How’d it go for him? It flopped. Hard. Its like Dead Space, but bad.

  8. Elden Ring hard?😂😂😂😂It’s the easiest souls game and one of the easiest games if you actually think a little when making your builds , I mean it’s not that hard to associate bleed buffs to your build if your weapon makes people bleed….

  9. 8:33 We live in 2 worlds🌎 🌎. Video games are that 2nd world. Video games give us access to our own multiverses.

  10. He’s great at explaining things in an engaging, respectful way. It’s clear why he’s a seasoned director.

  11. 4:03 Poor project management, cost overruns, and bloated marketing budgets are the reason why costs have skyrocketed… And that isn’t my problem. You could reduce costs and still make a great game… Plenty of small studios have proven that… But y’all AAA studios are just greedy and want all the moneys. Line go up brrrrp!
