Trauma surgeon Annie Onishi is back with WIRED, this time to go over the Home Alone films (you know, the ones that MATTER). Annie breaks down every injury from the first two films, explaining what would happen if Harry and Marv actually experienced the physical trauma that they sustain in the films.

Trauma Surgeon Breaks Down Every Home Alone Injury | WIRED
The kid was picked on by his brother and uncle.
Somewhere, I suspect another M.D. is listening to this and thinking that she’s talking nonsense.
NICE LEGS!!!.
I was hoping she’d address Marv’s brief skeletal episode.
She should do A Baby’s Day Out
Hey medical professional libtards:
Shut your mouths, watch the films and laugh. No one cares!
Nice legs
3:14 i’m pretty sure it’s shown he still has that in HA2, so it is 3rd degree burns
If it were 3° he would have had plastic surgery
There’s always time for part 3. Parts 4, 5 and 6 are garbage though.
Thank you Dr. Onishi for your input 💗
Actually first injury was a bb shot to the fellas.
We know by now that Harry and Marv are immortal, I don’t know how they haven’t noticed that
Aww she didn’t cover the bricks to the face. Generally lethal I’d assume.
What surprises me is that she didn’t say more stuff would be lethal. obviously I am not a doctor but, if you fall 4 stories and then a 140+ weight falls on top of you that seems like you would have died twice.
It’s known as tunnel vision or target fixation 7:20
11:25 That’s actually a common Suicide fall trope in police procedural dramas.
16:08 it’s not so much the voltage you gotta worry about, it’s the amperage that will kill you. That said, an arc welder definitely has more than enough amps to be fatal (i.e. >3 milliamperes)
20:12 Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”
I bet shes fun at parties 🙄
Moral of the story: don’t be like Harry & Marv. Know when to quit 😂
