  1. Hearing Stewart play even snippets of drumming samples triggered my 80s kid brain, and I’m now hearing the theme song to the TV show The Equalizer in my head!

  2. Ringo didn’t play the drums to stand out. Ringo played the drums that suited the song and made it sound like it belonged. Sure he could have added crazy fills, long solos or crazy tempos but he knew it didn’t need them. He did what Paul, John and George NEEDED for their songs and did it so well it’s made them who they are

  3. I must say the Police’s music would have been pretty ordinary without Copeland’s clever and unique Reggae/Punk fusion grooves.

  4. I don’t have a clue about drums or what he’s talking about. I just love his energy and personality. Can watch him all day long 😊

  5. Wheaties? Twice? How much is General Mills paying you, Copeland?! (Or is Wheaties Post? I dunno and I ain’t lookin’ it up)

  6. Why do non drummers beat up on Ringo? Dude was a drummers drummer…try to stay up with his shuffle…dare you!

  7. Isn’t “swing” just a division of 3? It’s always described as some mystical thing…. ITS JUST MATH….?

  8. Reggae drummer is hard and easy…the kick drum is simple, usually straight on the beat 1 2 3 4 …..or 1..3 1..3
