The Oscars Are Moving From ABC to YouTube in 2029 | THR News

In the world we live in now nobody really cares IMO. The way Will Smith was able to enjoy the rest of the show after THE SLAP said a lot about Hollywood. Who wants to watch a bunch of rich people award themselves when regular hard working people can’t afford to pay their electricity bill.
One can find almost anything on YouTube mostly for free for now but not for much longer. The trend in the News is to deny what it’s reports without tou subscribing to it first is growing. When Apple got its hands on A Charlie Brown Christmas etc. you had to either pay to watch it since it was no longer free. The Oscars may be increasingly irrelevant in the age of Streaming as is going to a theater to see a film. Yet the deal with YouTube will be even worse since it will be a pay per view going forward or covering it without them. It won’t be surprising to see its Logo on stage, emblazoned on the Red Carpet or on the backs of Actors etc. at all. Indeed Social Media can all but ban anything people might see since it’s that omnipresent and individuals too…
Spielberg sold out the human race and made a film (Disclosure) to scare people into submission to a one world government “for protection”. Of course, he will find himself privileged in a new world order.
Why we gotta wait til 2029? Jeez
😳
So, remember when YouTube was just a website for uploading dinky, funny videos?
People talk about the Oscars in big cities……but the MAJORITY of the country (“Flyover States”) could care less….in fact, there’s a very real disdain for Hollywood, L.A., and California in general in those Flyover States. 🤷🏼♂️
I remember this was a night mom would fix dinner early and get the dishes washed so we could watch the Academy Awards!!!
About halfway through some popcorn and Kool-aid.
Ugh! I hate the Oscars.
Oscar, didnt he live with Felix Unger?
🤣🤣🤣
So not fair that the US has to be paid subscribers but the rest of the world gets it free. As the awards are held in the states, I feel the payer should be switched
