I don’t have a wired door-bell; however, I do have a power outlet fairly close to the door so instead of the power from the typical door chime as shown, could one use a 9 or 12V power-adaptor?
Just do not want the hassle of the rechargeable battery.

Great overview! I’m curious can you livestream your Roku doorbell camera and other cameras with 2 way comm on your phone when NOT connected to your homes Wi-Fi ? I’m having trouble finding info on this
@BRAV-lm6xk your cameras need to be connected via wifi but your smartphone can be connected via wifi or cellular to see the footage.

Yes you can turn it off
When you charge it do it stay on
After you charge it yes it remains on until the battery needs it’s next charge.

Can you explain how you installed the fuse link in the old chime box? I’m guessing the front and rear wires were tied together at one end of link and the common wire connected to other end of link, but couldn’t tell.
We’ve tried installing/connecting the wired doorbell and the floodlights… we get the same error when setting up both… “QR scan complete, please wait” and then says connecting for a few minutes and then failed. The doorbell connected to where our Ring one was. Roku support had no idea what was going on.
Two way communication is where my camera fails.

@chuckwalla2967 no it’s cloud storage. Yes you can view it on Roku tv, phone, and web at anytime.
So I have my device installed in the wall outside and I have my chime bell in the wall outlet. But on my app the chime bell doesn’t show up on accessory settings when I click on my doorbell. So I tried resetting the entire device and factory resetting it. But I still don’t see the chime bell on the device settings. What are my options
