Bit of graft that mate when you could’ve used some doorbell wire @12v and run it under the floor. I’ve never seen someone rip a ceiling down for a doorbell. Jesus Christ.
You certainly made a meal and a pizza out of that. I’ve mine wired on an appropriate transformer bought from Amazon’s site. 16.99 it’s been going well now for 5 years.
sorry mate, you made it look a little bit harder than it was. I’m not Electrician and I did it and it works fine and you don’t see any wise. The ring doorbell can just be plugged in to the normal system as for cameras well that’s entirely up to you. How you wire them where you place them? Ring has had a plug-in version of its doorbell for sometime.
WARNING! The new generation of RING doorbells require 27A @ 230v to operate! 😮😂. BELL-WIRE is called bell-wire for a reason… it’s used for doorbells! 😂😂. Nice bit of oak though, although it’s worth more than the RING doorbell at today’s prices!
Lol ring door bell is anything but secure
Dunno bout all that but id treat that oak first and not just be lazy for the likes
My doorbell is POE which is significantly easier to sort out!
Way dont you get a plug and play its simple plug it in done
Wow that’s a lot of work and re-decs just for the sake of changing some batteries from time to time

DIY indeed.
Ring? Nah, Ubiquiti.
£100 door bell vs £3000 worth of redecorating 😂
This is full ADHD.
I’d get a professional
Should of gone Ubiquiti

It’s because I don’t think you have the right wires
You Can Get Cameras that Stick inside The Windows

Sorry, I didn’t want to say well done though because you did a good job
You not only make a mountain out of a molehill, you send everyone to sleep while doing it!

Or you could have went for another well known brand and used POE to power it instead
