Even if Gretchen DID say she went to the hospital (I don’t think that, but hypothetically), it wldv been said in confidence to her friend. Best case, Katie took confidential info to Kiki.
Worst case, Katie embellished what happened and told it to Kiki (I think Katie did the worst case).
Either way, Katie denied saying anything to Kiki. This is what she does; deny, deny, deny. Then admit to a pasteurized version of the story, playing victim cuz she was treated so badly and why is everyone so mean to her.
Either way, she betrayed her friend’s confidence. Who needs enemies with a friend like that.

Gretchen definitely made or strongly suggested the allegations. Jennifer is a gutless liar for also knowing that Gretchen said it and letting Katie take all of the hits. Nobody was asking any questions about Gretchen in real time, because Tamra successfully made Katie the villain using the resentment of Gina, Emily, and Heather and the crazy of Shannon.
