  1. men dont get called unlikable in films, they get called MUCH MORE OFFENSIVE TERMS, this cow is basically complaining about men and women criticising bad female actresses in the politest way possible.

I myself have never called a bad or miscast male actor unlikable, i have called them charisma black holes, w*nkers, annoying, irritating, diversity hire. Would this woman like me to start calling bad female actresses these words instead? don’t get sensitive about words and tone policing, nobody likes anyone who does that crap, get sensitive about the writing being trash and people who don’t deserve the roles they’re getting being thrown into the deep end they didnt deserve the chance to be thrown into in the first place.

  2. Stronger words are used for men that are ‘unlikeable’ – and quite often words go out the window and the desire to deliver a clump on the snoz is prevalent

  3. Ive heard of plently of men being called unlikable wat. I feel like it does happen more with women, but saying you dont rlly hear it happen to men at all is weird because like yeah we do.

  4. Men receive intense vitriol simply for existing, so being considered “unlikeable” honestly seems like a vacation.
