Legendary BBQ in Kansas City | Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern | Travel Channel

Andrew is in meat mecca Kansas City, joined by James Beard Award-winning chef Celina Tio for a mouthwatering BBQ crawl. Their first stop is iconic Arthur Bryant’s, a BBQ joint that still boasts their standard pit ham sandwich and beef sandwich, a slice of America between two buns. Then, it’s off to Joe’s Kansas City BBQ, an old gas station turned legendary BBQ joint, famous for its burnt ends. Finally, it’s a masterclass in elevated comfort by Q39 owner and BBQ champ Rob Magee.

  1. As someone who really misses Kansas City & KC BBQ…this video made me very homesick. But happy. 😊

  2. Anytime I am close to Joe’s I always get their burnt ends it is 2 hour drive for me but sometimes you just have to do a road trip BBQ run

  3. There are so many places around the KC area where you can find great BBQ than this video doesn’t even hold a candle to. Look, the people there in the KC area, be it a restaurant or a back yard, make BBQ an art. That’s why there are BBQ festivals. The two that I know of are the Lenexa one and the World Series of BBQ, the American Royal BBQ. You will never, EVER, get better BBQ than at that contest. You’ll feel sorry for the judges, but you won’t ever feel sorry for your taste buds.
