  1. Thanks for having me Wired, it was an absolute delight to answer some questions! Hope people enjoy this one, and I’m super curious what everyone’s favourite question was? (And what is left that still needs an answer!?)

    1. Loved the eating coffee beans question!! What’s your feeling on chocolate covered espresso beans? I feel like that’s a slightly different experience

    2. Ive been BINGE watching your videos since stumbling upon your video with Tom Scott. Was literally in the middle of watching your “no worlds strongest coffee” video and this was suggested. Wild.

    3. I think it’s a kind of specific question, but I was wondering what are your thoughts on Brazilian coffee, as you talked about high altitude and island grown ones.

  2. 12:36 I pour near to boiling water onto my coffeee powder which is placed over a muslin cloth over a strainer. This is collected on a cup. then add your sugar cubes and hot milk over this decoction. Depending on the type of bean, it is one of the awesome hot drinks I have had/ I use muslin cloth and strainer when i don’t have French press or the local coffee filter. 14:58 I totally agree lol.

  3. I like that he’s a coffee*expert* and not a coffee*snob*. Usually the two go together in an insufferable hipster package 😂

  4. I am Turkish and this is the first time hearing people put spice in a Turkish coffee. Is this another western thing where people do different things to another country’s dish or drink to make it more exotic or stereotypical?

  5. 20:43 That’s me, I can drink double coffee in the evening and then go immediately into sleep without issue 😀

  6. Bro what, espresso machines get up to 130 psi? Jesus, no wonder they are so big and expensive lol, that’s intense!

  7. Nah it’s not the coffee per se that makes you go to the loo. It’s the time everyone has the coffee in the morning coinciding with your body rhythm waking up.

  8. Coffe comes in 2 variants for me

1: Black and hot. Ideal if you want to warm up and get a quick boost
2: Black with 1 cube of Sugar. Ideal if your over by some friends and cant say no to somthing

  9. For context, coffee culture in Brazil is not driking espresso, the best way to describe it is like a light tea that is further diluted with water. It’s a very very light beverage in Brazil.
