The people in Iran are risking their lives right now because they want real freedom. They do not want a replacement leader chosen by Western powers or foreign interests.
Reza Pahlavi is not our leader. While the international media treats him like the face of the opposition, many of us see him as a return to the same old dictatorship mindset. His close ties to foreign governments and his backing from Israel feel like history repeating itself. We have not forgotten the lessons of the past. We do not want another Western choice forced on us.
Iran is a beautiful mix of many identities. The Kurds, Turks, Balochis, and Arabs make up more than half of our population. These communities have been silenced for too long by both the monarchy and the current regime. They are not fighting for a new King. They are fighting for the right to exist and govern their own lives. True liberty must grow from the ground up by respecting every single citizen. We will not recycle the mistakes of the past.
