How is this one different from Ring? Price, app, fees, services, etc.
It’s got it’s pluses and minus. Plus is it integrates with the same app as my home camera system. Another plus is it uses micro sd so the recordings are stored locally and I can access them without a payment plan. Minus is the app doesn’t always respond in a timely manner and doesn’t always connect right away. Price wise I think it’s about the same as ring. I hope this helps.
No subscription. That’s why I chose it.
Did the chime kit work? & what did it sound like?
Technically yes it worked. But at first it doesn’t work because I had a standard 10va transformer. If you want your chime to work you need to upgrade your transformer. I’ll be posting a video on how to do it on Friday.
You will need to marry 3 wires together for each terminal to get enough copper to carry the current. 3 solids & 3 stripes
What do you mean? It works fine with one wire after I got a bigger transformer.

So installing MicroSD card would disable Lorex NVR recording? I see you had Lorex system as well. So wondering.
Can we have footage on both MicroSD and NVR HDD? If so, Can you record 24/7? Since it is hardwired?
The hardwire is for the doorbell only not for the HDD. It still records to the MicroSD. In the app you can access both the doorbell microsd and the hdd for the other hardwired cameras.
