-The fast-charger I keep in my car. 167watts (sheesh). I use it for charging my phone, laptop, and steam deck on the go.

-The open source soldering iron I use. It runs off USB-C and heats up pretty fast.

-MONSTER of a battery. These are actually made for cinema cameras BUT they have USB-C (bi-directional 65W on the side) and are the legal size limit for air-travel at 99wh. Kinda a life-hack.

  1. It’s kinda hilarious to me that the bass specifically measures pretty exceptionally, but everything else is truly terrible

  2. Because of you and many other YTrs I’ve decided from this day forward not to click on any other thumbnails where a person is making a ridiculous face.

  3. You call these retro and here I am using a set of Lafayette headphones from 1973. Yes, they still work fine and are a coaxial driver design. Heavy but not to bad for comfort due to the really wide headband. Did put on a new set of pads from Brainwaves because the original ones are now almost solid. If you would like to graph these let me know.

  4. I wonder if dms knows that moon drop released the moon drop old fashioned headphones with a removable 2 pin connector and removalable headband to replace it with a ear hooks whenever it gets made.

  5. Those are chinies oem headphones. I have seen veeery similar headphones from diferent brands sold for around 20-40$ like 15 yeares ago

  6. I’d be interested as to what kind of driver they’re actually using, or if it was like a rebranded Grado or something. I also agree with the user(s) who’ve mentioned adding Koss drivers to them.

  7. These can be found in aliexpress by the name “Fashion ABS Wired Ear Headphones” I think they are the same ones without the branding.

  8. The old school Google logo, that’s pre Harambe technology.

Personally I would try and mod them with good parts…. that were available the same time they were originally made. Essentially “What if the Google Wired Headphones had been peak?”
