  1. Hello, I am experiencing a similar issue. After installing the new transformer, did your mechanical chime function properly again?

    1. Thanks for watching and commenting! My indoor chime box does not work with or without the jumper. I installed a Ring doorbell for a family friend recently and their chime works. Ring doorbells are often designed to be compatible with existing mechanical chime systems, while Eufy doorbells are not, requiring a dedicated Eufy chime or a workaround. The difference lies in the power requirements and the way the doorbells communicate with the chime.

    1. Hello, and thanks for commenting!

The home’s original mechanical chime does not work with the Eufy doorbell. A separate plug-in chime needs to be purchased with the doorbell.
