  1. I want this guy to have his own talk show. His stint on Kimmel was incredible. He jumped into the arena in one of the most challenging political landscapes ever and was authentic and did a wonderful job. I actually preferred his personable warmth to Jimmy but that seems to be a cultural thing I think. Jimmy is more of a “poke fun and giggle and prank” and Diego was a genuine, curious, authentic and funny host who showcased his talent and the way he can scale with ease in such a short span. If anyone reading this matters I am your target demo and I would buy a subscription to watch him, as I did with Andor. The ROI on this guy would be tenfold. Writers, please write for this man. let him play a full and complex character outside of the stupid boxes we keep putting people in.

    1. hes talking about being typecast, its the same as being labeled as somehting without having a chance to show you can be something else

  2. Wow, no wonder when someone says, “All these people are in Venezuelan drug gangs,” half the country just goes, “Yeah, that tracks.”

    1. For real? He’s saying representation for Hispanic people in film a lot of time is only one type of role and now people with that background have better role models on camera

  3. Im confused about some of the comments in the chat. How hard is it to understand that a Latino man doesn’t want to play the same tired roles that place him in a box that he doesn’t identify with?

  4. For an industry that prides itself on diversity and inclusion and not appropriation of stereotypes, they do sure practise in Stereotypes and offer the same tired acts to the same pool of people.

It’s almost like they were all lip service and no action.
