I want this guy to have his own talk show. His stint on Kimmel was incredible. He jumped into the arena in one of the most challenging political landscapes ever and was authentic and did a wonderful job. I actually preferred his personable warmth to Jimmy but that seems to be a cultural thing I think. Jimmy is more of a “poke fun and giggle and prank” and Diego was a genuine, curious, authentic and funny host who showcased his talent and the way he can scale with ease in such a short span. If anyone reading this matters I am your target demo and I would buy a subscription to watch him, as I did with Andor. The ROI on this guy would be tenfold. Writers, please write for this man. let him play a full and complex character outside of the stupid boxes we keep putting people in.
Bro what is this guy yapping about pure gibbrish
hes talking about being typecast, its the same as being labeled as somehting without having a chance to show you can be something else
Ah so you’re one of those snowflakes I’ve heard so much about
@ProjectileGrommet youre one of those idiots that radiates insecurity
Uhm, wasn’t he a murdering spy?
Killed a guy with a family during the opening scene?
But he was a Star Spy in a Star War you see, very different for casting directors
Wow, no wonder when someone says, “All these people are in Venezuelan drug gangs,” half the country just goes, “Yeah, that tracks.”
American media teaches people to be racist and internalize negative stereotypes
but he played a great drug dealer in narchos
I don’t know what the hell he was saying but I like the energy behind it 😂
For real? He’s saying representation for Hispanic people in film a lot of time is only one type of role and now people with that background have better role models on camera
His accent isn’t that deep I understood everything he said
You need to work on your English
but he already was amazing in Y tu mamà tambien
Im confused about some of the comments in the chat. How hard is it to understand that a Latino man doesn’t want to play the same tired roles that place him in a box that he doesn’t identify with?
For an industry that prides itself on diversity and inclusion and not appropriation of stereotypes, they do sure practise in Stereotypes and offer the same tired acts to the same pool of people.
It’s almost like they were all lip service and no action.
