The color is striking, but beauty is more than skin-deep with the JVC GR-C7U camcorder. You can record picture and sound in one unit and watch your masterpiece immediately on instant-playback. Watch out, John Hughes—there’s a new era of filmmakers on the horizon.

Before Snapchat People Took Videos on This JVC Camcorder – WIRED’s RetroGrade
Camcorder film tape master race!
made my first film on this bad boy
What are the differences between this model and the GR-C1U?
I have a old VHS-C cassette but no way to play it… anyone here have any ideas?
The VHS-C cassete is going into bigger cassette mechanism that fit into VHS, still have adapter cassette and telefunken camcorder somewhere.
What kind of resolution did this thing get?
1 entire pixel.
How about some reel-to-reel for true fidelity?
I want one today!
EXCELLENT CAMCORDER !!!
Just bought one a week ago! 🙂
The title bothers me. Snapchat doesn’t record video, it stores them publicly, where everyone can see. Heres some alternatives.
Before Video8, people recorder with this.
Before MiniDV, people recorded with this.
Before the sd card, people recorde video with this.
And the best one,
A history of the JVC GR-C1.(or whatever model your showing, I haven’t watched it all.)
This is more of a commercial missing the 4:9 aspect than a video about a camera older than snapchat, both having nothing go do with eatch other.
