  1. no one’s a competition on how bad she is at explaining things, I am saying that after understanding everything she said, even a school student can explain these things simply

  2. Mosquito bites don’t itch until after the fact, though, so an itch doesn’t alert you to its presence.

  3. Why does my body hurt for really no practical reason? Like my body just aches or I get random sharp pains in muscles or joints? .. thats what I wanna know!

  4. As a pain physician, most of her explanations were extremely vague and oversimplified. There are so many cool things that the body does in reaction to pain and minimal things were discussed here. I’m sure many people think she did a good job, but she really didn’t explain anything in this video. I don’t even know her background and why she was chosen for this topic?

  5. My sister-in-law got chronic brain zaps after getting her first COVID shot. It took her well over a year and a LOT of money to recover.

  6. I feel so lucky to live in a time we have general anesthesia. Imagine how common it must have been for surgery patients to go into shock.

  7. The way that tickling works is the fact that there’s a threat, but the threat is goofy or ridiculous. The threat is the fact that another person is laying their hands on you, but in a goofy ridiculous way. It’s the reason that you can’t tickle yourself, as you cannot be a threat to yourself in the same way.

  8. Brain zaps are terrible. Unfortunately due to insurance, I sometimes have to wait until they approve the next rx and the zaps can get debilitating.

  9. I’ve always speculated that tickling is so that kids/babies don’t drive us crazy. Touch can so annoying.

  10. I remember the first time I had my knee reflex checked when I was a teenager. The doctor must have wanted to face palm so hard. Cos I kicked my leg up because that’s what I had seen in cartoons and thought I was supposed to do that instead of just letting my leg twitch a little.

  11. 1:05 hey that’s not a bad joke I thought I made that up myself 😭 I’m 16 and my friends are really irritated at me because I’ll say “yeah that’s really funny, quite humorous. One might even say….femur.” because humorous and humerus
