1. You get free D+ with your cable service here. If you don’t use it and sign up, they BOMBARD you with emails. “hey, you haven’t redeemed your FREE Disney+ and it’s awesome and it’s free for 6 months…blah blah” had to unsubscribe from the list. gotta boost those numbers by any means necessary

2. Disney can say whatever they wish? Doesn’t make it true. Since I cancelled my subscription awhile back and I’m not going back.

3. I got the pop up saying that the price for hulu is going up in October, so I canceled with “too expensive” to rub salt in the wound 😅

12. I haven’t wasted my money on Disney plus at all, never subbed to them, never really saw much need, if all they are adverising is Star Wars & Marvel with them being subpar shows, then I have no need of them

14. What you are missing is the ad revenue will go up as the number of viewers goes up. If they can sell their advertisers on the idea that they have x amount of ad viewers. They could probably offer it for free for 3 months and make just as much. But then after 3 months, once all the cheap subscribers leave, the ad revenue contracts will be locked in until next year. So even if they lose a lot of subscribers, they will still get the ad revenue. What they are counting on is that their advertisers don’t pay attention to the large drop in subscribers in December and choose to drop Disney.

15. Disney has been making mugs of their most loyal fans for years now. They’ve wound down services that used to justify their high price tag, the quality of the content, and the new rides are poor, their actors and executives call people names when they disagree… Who would continue to support this?

16. I just got an email saying my subscription is going up to $15.99. The heck?

17. Apparently they don’t need my money because their plummeting quality and rising prices convinced me to drop Disney+ a month ago.

18. Honestly Disney could offer it for free and i still wouldn’t re subscribe to Disney+. I get more entertainment value from Tubi and YouTube than anything on Disney+ or Hulu.

19. So they added 5 times more commercials in the Ad tier?
