1. Republicans are so tedious. They need to do their work. Voters need to stop voting for the ones who only want to hurt the functioning of the gov’t to help the Repubs. If it happens, please go around your neighborhoods knocking on the doors of retirees; go stand in the parking lot of the VA; go stand in front of the locked door of the local military recruitment office, with a sign that says, “Go Ahead And Thank Me For This.”

   1. LMFAO the VA and Military budget is separate, so is social security.. The only people who don’t get paid are federal employees. Recruiting office never close, you’ve obviously never been a recruiter LMFAO

This includes student loans, small business loans, farm subsidies – all at a standstill. 25% of Social security Administration staff furloughed – delays in processing payments. WIC and SNAP benefits stop. Head Start – closed. VA – closed. IRS – closed. National Parks – closed. FDA inspections furloughed- which means that restaurants scheduled for inspection are closed because of the delay in that happening. Infrastructure projects that are funded by federal funds – halted. Furloughed federal employees may be able to recoup 60-75% of back pay. But the private citizens who can’t work because their business ties to federal funds, lose out. This is not my opinion. All of this is easily available with a little research into the domino effect of the impact of a government shutdown. OBTW, all of you who are angry at congress for infighting and not getting stuff done, and think this hurts them…WRONG! They don’t lose a dime. (Not that it would hurt them anyway since they’ve all become wealthy from insider trading).
