  1. He’s in a much better position now because he can’t get franchised and the open market will pay him what he wants regardless

    1. @@KevondrickBailey like him or not, pro bowl/ mvp candidate(like he was last year) QB’s don’t go to the open market at his age. All average/above average QBs get overpaid.

  2. The Cowboys have 5 playoff wins in 30 years, and this fkn guy said he’d be “mildly caught off guard” if they won a Super Bowl. 🤡

  3. So, your ankle swells up when you go deep sea fishing, and you STILL go deep sea fishing? Hmmm… perhaps with more solid priorities you’d have a better chance at a contract.

  4. IF Dallas had a great QB, we’d be challenging KC for the Chips every year. Dak can’t lead a team past the first round of the Playoffs.
Aside from that, the Jones’s, STEPHEN, not Jerry, is the one that handles contracts, player acquisition, personnel decisions, it’s all Stephen’s now. When Jerry had Jimmy, he had the perfect setup. Common sense would have told most reasonable men to try and recreate the same setup. Instead, Jerry & his ego, tried to do it himself. After 20 years, he was finally a decent GM. Then he passed all that work to Stephen and Stephen is WAY in over his head. THAT’S why we’re always late paying contracts. Stephen is in charge, there, too. Look at FAs we signed: ONE (at least that moved the meter a bit).
    😳

  5. How was any Cowboys fan “surprised” when they
crapped the bed in the playoffs against a good team. The only decent teams played last year destroyed em with the exception of the Rams. They were Destroyed by the Bills and 9ers. They lost to the Dolphins and the Eagles the first time around. They Barely beat the Seahawks and Chargers and lost to the pathetic Cardinals. Oh and we all know they lost to Detroit if it wasn’t for the bungled ref call. Every other team that all finished with terrible records, they absolutely destroyed. This has basically been on repeat for the last few seasons so again… How could anyone especially those that call themselves “fans” be surprised by this? 🤔

  6. I don’t understand why ESPN continues to say the Cowboys are Super Bowl contenders…no they are not. Their roster got worse, they have a lot of question marks on both sides of the ball, and they lost in the first round to the 7th seed and youngest playoff team in NFL history. They’re replacing two offensive lineman (one of them will be a first ballot hall of famer), they don’t have a WR3, Zeke is not an upgrade from Pollard because his numbers have gotten worse since his last contract with the Cowboys, Cowboys DTs are not that good, they have no linebackers which means their run defense is going to be much worse. I don’t see how this team is gonna contend with the Lions, Eagles, 49ers, Packers, or the Rams. These teams got so much better and the Cowboys got worse

  7. Jerry did not give Dak much of a running game so he’s either setting him up to fail to get a better deal or the Boys are moving-on.
