Connections in a Ceiling Rose and Light Switch.

Student training aid for the connections required to wire a lighting circuit using the 3 plate loop-in method. Video explains the connection required within the ceiling rose and 1 way light switch. The circuit is wired in twin and CPC cables (twin and earth cable).

Videos are training aids for City and Guilds (C and G) and EAL courses Level 1, 2, 3 plus AM2, AM2S and AM2E.

  1. I understand the permanent live and neutral but why is there more live cables in the rose? Daft question probably. I’m learning.

  2. Best cabling to use in order to feed neutral to a switch for smart products? Most 4 wire cables don’t follow the colour codes and aren’t solid core?
