Something about this everyday footage just feels gentle and inviting, even though it’s just some video taken by (one or more) pedestrian (s) of everyday life in the city.
Whether the live city footage was on purpose or a way to save money, I think it paid off. It’s certainly unique among City Hunter OPs & EDs, and it gives that nostalgic feeling even though this anime was way before my time.
