Chronicling the LPGA’s role in the growth of women’s sports | Golf Central | Golf Channel

Thank you LPGA for praising female athletes…wish WNBA was taking note but I guess don’t hurt to dream.
I think CME Globe could better serve the LPGA Tour as a whole if the grand prize was $2M rather than $4M, and sprinkle that other $2M down the leaderboard amongst the rest of the field.
The LPGA is doing just fine, the WNBA cannot sustain itself since it was founded and they fucked up the whole Caitlin Clark situation, they should have capitalized on her greatness and her popularity. LPGA are doing fine, but they are showing the WNBA how you GROW BIGGER and REACH MORE PEOPLE and embrace a boon to your sport when that arrives rather than trying to shut out caitlin and demonize her and harm herlike the WNBA did.
They dont necessarily need caitlin but she likes golf shes in the pro am, and she’s a massive boon to anything she’s a part of, they are gonna promote her and embrace her because thats what you do when you are PROFESSIONALS i said before and ill say it again, WNBA is not a professional league, nobody in the whole league has any professionalism or class at all, while the LPGA has both, in spades.
