Chester Bennington’s son, Jaime, blasts Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda on his Instagram story, ahead of the band’s first major concert with their new lead singer, Emily Armstrong. Within his lengthy tirade on social media, Jaime slams Mike over the group’s response to controversy surrounding Emily’s past support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson and her connection to the Church of Scientology. Linkin Park’s new chapter and new album, ‘From Zero,’ comes seven years after Chester died by suicide.

Emily was born into a cult… we can only imagine how manipulative the “church” and her parents are. Maybe she is afraid of speaking out against Scientology. She realized that supporting Danny was a mistake and she was open about it in her statement. You don’t know what’s going on inside of her. Haven’t you learned anything from Chester, Jaime? You don’t know what “crawls beneath the surface”.
“Gave up who I am for who you wanted me to be”… just imagine her singing those lines thinking about her parents and the cult… “It’s been decided how we lose. There is a fire under the altar, I keep on lying to”…

As a victim of abuse myself, I fully support Emily. Why? Because she is allowed to make mistakes. I’m not certain which planet these haters live on where they are perfect but I’m curious how the weather is there?
Rob Bourdon is gone, too. Such an underrated drummer.
He’s smart. Linkin Park died when Chester passed away, so did his involvement with the band.
Best part about it all is she admitted she was wrong in supporting who she thought was a friend. She said she went ONCE, couldn’t stomach what she heard and that was it, she stopped going and supporting him. I mean who amongst wouldn’t support a good friend against charges we believe there’s no way they could’ve committed only to find out we were wrong. You wanna believe the best in your friends, you’ve known them for years, they’ve shown YOU what a good person they are, sadly they have another side BUT you never saw that side. So when something happens ofc you’re gonna defend them at first. To wanna shun her just because she believed the best of a really good friend is ridiculous. She made a mistake, we’re all done it!!!
Why is it her problem? That’s my question. If my friends do some messed up shit it’s not my responsibility to answer for their messed up actions.
The other members of Linkin park deserve to live their lives. Chester was selfish by taking his life. Life goes on. Deal with it

When I heard about Linkin Park’s reunion, I instantly saw the response of that new singer replacing the original one a mile away. What I did NOT see coming is the fact she formerly used to support Danny Masterson.
Rip too his dad. Was great entertainment and handsome man. He was good in saw 7 movie franchise.. i understand his feelings.. like my mom died in ca 2017.. now her siblings being all Karens people.. now i have to deal with the negativity.. hate will never wins..
Let’s not forgot Chester’s kid has not been in his right mindset recently, does he deserve a platform on this issue?
