  1. I actually have had pleasure of meeting Burt Ward and saw the 60’s Batmobile up close. I found out that Bruce would spare with both him and Adam West before they would be doing fight scenes. He told me that Linda Lee would often bring Brandon on the set, too. Also, Burt had a pet lion cub at the time along with some cats and the cats would openly avoid the cub because they knew it was dangerous, but the cub just wanted to play, so it noticed the cats would use a certain box and there it waited for the cats, once cat went to the box the cub hugged it and proceeded to lick it all over but it didn’t hurt the cat.

  2. As a kid I really enjoyed this back in the day, so much so that I counted the number of hits for both. 4 and 4! Lol! Evenly matched! (coughing)

  3. Watching Bruce Lee deliberately tried to go slow mo in order to match other people’s speed is hilarious; in his other movies he’d move like the Flash. Also, any time someone ‘hit’ him I’d roll my eyes. Bruce Lee should never be a jobber.

  4. Actually, the folklore behind this episode was that Bruce read the script and said there was no way that this fight would’ve ended with Robin the Victor…… he didn’t even want for it to be a tie, but Batman had the biggest show at the time…. So the day of the shoot, Bruce walked around the set with a scowl, throwing punches and shaking his fist, at Burt Ward, the actor…. Who quite naturally was horrified and didn’t wanna come out of his trailer until Bruce told him it was all a joke and that he wasn’t really going to hurt him….

  5. I loved this episode. Watching Kato throwing high kicks at Robin’s suprised face was a great highlight of my Batman watching days 🤣🤣
