This was a terrible interview. Michael opens with addressing Bernie’s statements about the Democratic Party focusing too heavily on identity politics then proceeds to try to shift the entire conversation to identity politics. You guys just did a 30 minute interview as the butt of the joke, and you probably didnt even realize it. The NYT is so terribly out of touch. Maybe next time you’ll get the message from Bernie and the majority of America, but not this time.
What people like Michael don’t understand, and what I think they don’t want to acknowledge is, it’s time for Bill Clinton’s clean, polished, corporate loving politician era to end. We need systemic change. And I think I know someone who could bring it.
I hope Jon Stewart runs in 2028.
He’s basically left wing Trump. He’s a charismatic, controversial celebrity, who can’t get the cameras off of him, a great debater, and a great sense of humor. Humor is a powerful weapon.
Do you know what happens to leaders of a losing party in other countries? They resign in shame. But we all know losers like Schumer Pelosi and Kamala will be rewarded…
Sanders is an independent, presuming he is in the minority because he is aligned with the Democrats in the immediate interim is already more than enough.
New York Times and all associates have become a pseudointellectual rag and that is sad. remove this from public view.
Total bs here!
