This happened near my aunt’s neighborhood, which used to be quiet and safe. I also grew up with a family member of Stewart’s when i lived in Springfield for a little bit. My heart still goes out to the victim’s families.
How does an arrest for kidnapping and assault not automatically trigger a judge to immediately issue a search warrant for Weldon’s house? It is absurd. The police should have legally and immediately been able to search his premises for victims/survivors. Something’s wrong in Massachusetts.
A human has the right of their natural life’s longevity to get themselves into trouble, and also the time to figure things out and claw their way out of that trouble. No other person has the right to take that time or opportunity away from them.
This sounds like the Sowell case all over.
