Jimmy Kimmel got emotional during his first show back since the Los Angeles wildfires began. The late night talk show host appeared to hold back tears while talking about the devastation and all those affected. “I think I speak for all of us when I say it has been a sickening, shocking, awful experience, but it has also been, in a lot of ways, a beautiful experience because, once again, we see our fellow men and women coming together to support each other,” Kimmel said on the Jan. 13 episode. The host also briefly called out president-elect Donald Trump for his reaction to the wildfires. “Tonight, I don’t want to get into all the vile and irresponsible and stupid things our alleged future president and his gaggle of scumbags chose to say during our darkest and most terrifying hour.”
