Marat Safin a former player known for his mental strength. This should work out great for such a stable player like Rublev 🥴
Im a big fan of rublev’s game….his aggression…im hoping safin can help rublev deal with things mentally

Safin is a secret weapon, imo. He’s been through hights and depths. Now lives a very conscious, spiritual life. This will prove fruitful for Andrey, I am absolutely sure. Dream team!
Safin as coach? Maybe for Nalbandian. Mental coach? Maybe for Kyrgios. Rublev is tapped out. He forgot to learn how to play from the net and technical shots. Or maybe today’s coaching is as limited as many of the players. “It doesn’t matter who the coach is, just that the player buys in” is without a doubt the dumbest reflection on a coach’s value ever. But then Annacone came on board after the untimely death of a great coach simply to watch the best player in the world perform without adding a thing. Then Annacone picked up the GOAT and was totally unable to get Federer to play more aggressively, particularly on the return. So his statement makes sense for his kind of “coach”.
