Yang, who joined “SNL” as a writer in 2018 and became a cast member in 2019, also reflected on one of his biggest sketch failures. He recounted a live sketch involving “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri that was unexpectedly turned into a pre-taped segment, which did not go as planned. Despite the setbacks, Yang emphasized that such challenges are part of the comedy world and advised that one should simply move on and adapt, as comedy’s reception can be unpredictable.
