everyone stuck on the video game part. did you eve watch the whole video?
GTA could’ve been a precursor but definitely is not causation. I feel like people never take into account that GTA CAN add to the risk of someone committing crimes, but only if that child is in a bad household.
If you aren’t taught any morals as a child by your parents, and you play GTA, of course your teenage brain is going to think it’s okay. Could GTA have had an effect on him? Sure. Is it Rockstars fault? No.
Software has been part of a vehicle since 1980 and earlier. Congress could require manufacturers to update the software on all their vehicles to limit their top speed to 90 MPH with an exception for police cruisers so that no one could outrun a cop and no vehicle could be faster than another. This would make racing pointless. They could also require a fingerprint and a fob to start the car. People start the car by putting the fob on the console and forgetting to take it when they get to where they are going. The fingerprint would stop this form of theft. The key fob start is great for the auto industry because stolen cars generate more sales.
What’s that winding sound
What a loser
